Hogwarts students can earn House Points for each IC rp thread that they make and for each IC post that they make. The number of points for each thread created is 2 and 1 point for each post within a thread. Alongside of this Teachers, Prefects, the Head Master, Deputy Head, Heads of Houses, Head Boy and Head Girl can all award and take away house points. Each has an allotted amount that they are able to award. Amounts will be listed below. They will also have rules that go with their allotted amounts and reasons for why they are able to reward or take away house points.
House points are awarded for the following reasons:
-Homework +2
-Answering a question in class correctly a max of +2 per student.
-Exemplary behavior (determined by the person)
-Outstanding deeds (determined by the person)
-Outstanding or Exemplary spellwork, potionswork, classwork max of +3
House points are taken away for the following reasons:
-Lateness to class max of -2
-Extreme disruption of lessons or class (see below in Professors)
-Extreme rule breaking (determined by person)
-Outstanding bad or evil deeds (determined by person)
-Outstandingly awful spellwork, potionswork, classwork max of -3
How much each position can take away per student or house (if punishing the whole house) at one time:
Head Master - 100 per student, 200 per house
Deputy Head - 75 per student, 125 per house
Head of House - 50 per student, 100 per house
Head Boy/Girl - 50 per student, 100 per house
Professors - 25 per student, 75 per house
Prefects - 15 per student, 50 per house
