The following are the rules for Magical abilities. It is your job to keep up with them if you have or are planning to have a Magical Ability. These rules are subject to change and not knowing or not following them is not an option or excuse.
1. Magical abilities are a privilege not a right. If you misuse or abuse your ability it can be taken away. If an ability is taken away, the first time it will be given back after a week. The second time you will get it back after a month. The third time it will be removed permanently and any subsequent rule breaking can lead to your ability to have any magical ability removed indefinitely.
2. If you are playing a character with a magical ability, you must wait until you have been approved for that ability before you can rp as having that ability. If you are found to have been rping as having that ability before, any posts will be revised and you will receiving a warning. Second offense will result in your application for the ability being denied and you will have to reapply.
3. If your character has been approved for an ability you must make at least three (3) posts a month with that ability being used or you may loose the ability.
4. Abilities such as Legilimens and Occlumens must have prior written Consent by the player before they can be used. If you are a legilimens you MUST ask the player before you cast the spell and use the ability. Occlumens have the right to defend themselves.
5. Seers are required to have written consent before seeing the future and must have written consent of Admin Alexis before making a prophecy. At this time only Sybil Trelawney is allowed as a Seer.
